This tactical based trauma course covers the basic as well as the most extreme cases and MCI information available. All iinstructors have extensive backround in response and treatment.Increase understanding and awareness of the impact of trauma
This highly interactive training is specifically tailored to the remote and marine-based security professionals. This a a full hands on course.
The Rescue and Medical Care course runs over three to five days. In common with the shorter courses, there is an emphasis on a wider range of practical skills (with the opportunity to revisit practical skills sessions during the five days – a process of ‘spiral learning’). We will cover MOB, wave runner safety and rescue, situational awareness,moving causualties in weather conditions, dive rescue and free dive emergencies,alternative rescue equiprtment. We will cover extrications from location.
We bring the entire class to a classroom located near you. This allows the staff to stay local and still obtain all the knowledge from a classroom type setting. This course should be undertaken every five years, to keep the MCA Proficiency in Medical Care in-date or Wilderness Medicine update. The course usually runs over three days, but can be extended to four days depending on the requirements of the crew.
